Clean out old activity files from the activities folder on your unit?

If you are using a Mac make sure to empty the trash while the unit is connected to the Mac to really free up the space after deleting files.

I have cleared all activities

I checked it extra but the trash is empty

If you could post a screen capture that shows the files in the Garmin folder that might help

I see that file D6017020B.img has a size of 3.1 GB

And that file gmapgc.img has a gote of 1.6 GB

I don't know if I can delete these files without negatively affecting the Garmin operating system

You van always move the suspectst to your pc and if it not works by trial and error put them back one by one

I have temporarily deleted files gmapgc and D6017020B from the device. Now Garmin Express still gives the warning that the internal storage is too small for the update ..
