Navigation without gps ....

no, it don't work, seems Garmin have a prob with their rollout servers, even Express shows a different Firmware when you install the fw manually and of course the official fw site of garmin shows wrong…

Factory reset for me after updating to 5.50. Went to add sensors, the device crashed and lost all settings. Great work Garmin!

Well, that sure didn't work out well. Did the factory reset, and now the Garmin Connect app won't connect to the device at all. I've forgotten and reset the bluetooth, then deleted and re-installed the app; still won't connect. Starting to see why so many people are going to Wahoo...

It should be possible to change history color cyan--> for example black. version 5.50 has this posiiblity under navigaton menu, but, When you change it for each sport profile, and you start activity, it shows again cyan on the screen. Any suggestions Garmin?

I've tried this before and it never worked because I tried to move the files back into their folders. Thanks for this link - solves the problem!

If your 830 is functioning fine with its current software right now, i think much better not to update to V5.50 as of the moment to avoid more frustrations.

Unzipped and installed v5.50 not any problem, even Livetrack works like a charm.

Can you check if the gps tracking of your new device is accurate Wim?

First test looks good ... gps software is updated to 2.90
