How can I change the edge 830 touch sensitivity, software version 5.2?

The touch screen on my Edge 830 is much too sensitive. If I ride indoors with it on my handlebars it gets triggered by sweat, if I ride outdoors with the slightest bit of rain it gets triggered by that. I got caught in a rainstorm a while ago and the thing just went totally wild, right at the moment when having a working navigational device would have been most useful. Before I bought it I heard that it had multiple sensitivity settings, but I can't find how to change them anywhere. Does anyone know?

You can disable touch screen during a ride (swiping will still work) by using the on/off button. That will help I guess.

Yeah, I saw that, but was sure I'd read that it could still be changed. If not I'll have to send the unit back, because it is useless for my purposes if it doesn't work in the rain.

Yes, that would certainly be a deal breaker.

Thanks, this comment was extremely helpful to solve my problem witht he touchscreen. This way, all the touchscreen problems during training were solved! Best regards!
