Indoor rides not saving

When I use Zwift, I typically also use my Garmin edge 830 simultaneously so that I get the training load status (I have it synced to my pedal based power meter). The last several rides I have done (incidentally ever since I updated phone to iOS 13) the indoor ride is not saving. Not only is it not saving, it isn’t showing up on my ride history. I typically have gps off as well. I never used to have this problem so I can’t figure out why or what’s changed. Thanks in advance for help.

Check the date. It tends to drift on indoor mode and save them 4 days ago. It’s supposed to sync the time via BT from your phone but doesn’t.

That’s what it was for me when rides weren’t syncing. If this is the reason they should still be in your history

Worth a check anyway.

Thanks, that’s definitely the issue. Talk about a flaw that you can’t set time when gps is off...

i don't understand, that Garmin makes really good software, but the thing with time and of course wrong date is really annoying, every time you have to go out of your home to sync the time with GPS, cause otherwise you couldn't get the time, the same problem was in the beginning of Edge 1030 for me

I see you were also on the thread where GPlama posted a question about this a couple of weeks ago, maybe if he and DCR mentioned it on their podcast it would help jog Garmin along to fix it.
