when you use mostly the Indoor profile without GPS the Edge 830 loosing his time and it is not syncron to NTP servers or GPS time, it is starting with 1 minute delay and will be more, when you don't change to a outdoor profile and sync with GPS!

GPLama started this thread a week or so ago which I commented on after I had the same issue and posted a workaround, ultimately Garmin should do whats in the manual and sync the time when connecting to the phone, or at least pick up NTP over wifi occasionally (e.g. ride upload)

i seen, you have this problem on 1030?
for me it is not understandable, that Garmin don't update the time with NTP server too, it is more or less standard in technical enviroments, it's really stupid to check time only with GPS
normally you use a primary and secondary ntp server, so i think it's possible to use GPS primary for time, if not reachable, the secondary time came from ntp server or something similar
it looks like, that Edge never get the time from GCM or Express, only when i go outdoor and i search for GPS
it looks like on Forerunner and Fenix 6 are similar probs, loosing time with GPS:
Today my indoor ride again did not save, because I use my Edge only in my house it very often loose current time, and when it has not correct time it did not save workouts. I realized that when I finish my workout.
I need to go outside leave Edge to fix its GPS position, when I have again correct time and can save my workouts. This is ridiculous. Garmin please do something with that.
Fixed in the latest beta but probably worth waiting for a full stable release, there have been more issues than normal with this set of betas
