Green bar on navigation screen

Nav. screen shows a wide bar at the bottom. It changes its colour between green and white from time to time and at the upper edge there is a position mark which is moving right to left and back, but I habe not understood it yet. How can l remove it?

The blue balloon is you, the white pin is the VP. The screen refresh maybe a bit odd at that level of zoom in.

If you can see the end point on the course then both icons will move. Typically you cannot see the end point so the icon for your position is in a fixed point.

My Climbpro is off and still the green bar is there. How can I remove it?

It is a setting on the map page

Activity Profiles -> name of profile you are using -> Data Screens -> Map -> Show Elevation profile
