Constant Sensor Connected Notifications

Hello - Just got a bike and my edge 830 keeps notifying me that the SRAM etap shifters are connected. Have had to turn off all notifications, but wondering has anyone had this issue previously, and found the solution. No problems with all other sensors, and have checked battery, etc.

  •  if you are unable to power off the Edge by pressing and holding the power button for an extended time, please reach out to the support office for your region to discuss.

  • Brand-new 1050; software updated to 13.14, which I assume would include the above-referenced fix. Connected to everything fine, worked great on first ride, but upon my return home suddenly inondated with these constant 'connected to X' notifications. Was this not fixed?

  •  it sounds like you're describing a different notification, if you can provide a screenshot of your message we can take a look.

The repeated sensor found message described in this thread occurred with some dual-channel sensors sending duplicate signals. The Edge would repeatedly detect the open channel and prompt the user to switch their connection:

  • Apologies, you're right. After my ride, and having taken the 1050 into the house (bike in garage) I started getting repeated indications tha it had 'connected to speed sensor', 'connected to cadence sensor', etc. seeming to just cycle through everything over & over again until I turned it off.
