Constant Sensor Connected Notifications

Seriously, this post is FOUR MONTHS old. I just bought a brand new 540 and it is doing the same damn thing. Freakin ridiculous. Bought it out of habit this time, but this might FINALLY get me to make the jump to WAHOO. I've been ignoring my cycling pals for years who shake their head at me for still buying Garmins.

Oh, and I'm on version 27.14 and, nope, it's not fixed, messed up straight out of the box.

Thanks for your patience and continued feedback, this is expected to be resolved shortly and we will update here with a specific resolution.

For now, removing one or both sensor connections (ANT+ and BLE) before powering the Edge off and back on will allow the sensor to be re-paired. If the connection prompt is persistent, you may need to first go out of range of the sensor or force the Edge to shutdown holding the power button.

That seems to have worked for me. Hopefully it sticks!

P.S., when I say "that" worked, I mean: I removed ALL of the connected sensors, turned Edge off then back on, then reconnected each sensor. 

I have just updated my 1040 to the latest patch, and this problem has started!

it’s not possible to unpair any sensors as the repeating popup window doesn’t allow to do anything else with the device

Just setup brand new 840. Updated firmware after unboxing.  So frustrated that I’m having this issue. Can’t even turn unit off, so just forget about managing to remove and re pair sensors. 

So basically a very expensive brick at this point.

Here I am two months later, four months from the initial response, and I am having the same issue with a brand new 840. I unboxed it, updated the firmware, tried to use it for an indoor session, and it was completely useless because of these notifications. I'm coming from a 500, then a 530, so I was super excited to get this device. But now instead of getting to dig into the its new features, I'm trying to get it to just record a ride.
