Elevation Graph

I do not understand the data field "Elevation Graph":

What is the meaning of the two black dots? Which section of the track is displayed?

The dots show the locations of the max and min values for the time period shown. The plot is a rolling window that shows the last x seconds of data. I would need to test it but I think it is around 2 minutes

Thanks for the explanation. I would have expected such an explanation in the user manual. I observed it yesterday. The time slice seems to be about 2 minutes. But honestly, what is the added value of this information?
