v9.50 - cannot connect to mobile via Bluetooth anymore

Hi,

my android phone will no longer connect to edge 530 after update. i delete the entry from bluetooth on the mobile, but each time, it doesn't connect successfully. could this be a bug with the update?

I am running v9.50 on my 530 and phone connections appears to work as expected.

Installed same version 4.58.1 and now I can pair my edge 1030 and xiaomi poco x3 nfc.

Have to select also "share contacts and call history"

i just managed to get it to connect and complete setup. the issue seems to be when i selected "share contacts and call history". unchecking this box meant the pairing process was able to connect. if i go back into the phones bluetooths settings and enable contact sharing, the next sync via the edge 530 unit fails.

Not sure if it was immediately after the 9.5 upgrade but i had to remove the bluetooth entries for the 530 and re-pair with my phone at the weekend. Seems a bit of a coincidence but was easy to resolve.

i definitely think the issue was related to the upgrade. suddenly the bluetooth connection wouldn't work. the update notes said they made a change to the bluetooth connection also.

same issue with v9.50 and Nokia XR20 phone, but it doesn't matter if I select or not "share contacts and call history"

I just doesn't receive notification to connect with (BLE)Edge 530 and nothing helped, I've even erased System Connections data on the phone and System App Bluetooth data/cache...

No problems with other phone which is weard

hello there, thanks to redgloss, I've managed to fix 530 connection issue by rolling back Connect App to v4.58.1 (from apkmirror)

PS don't forget to disable autoupdate in playmarket

GC 4.60 fixed the problem, there was lack of Edge device management permission.
