Garmin 530 - sensors not loading automatically

Garmin 530 - I have to manually reload all my sensors at the start of every new ride - they used to load up automatically….. help

What is your software (firmware) version and when did the issue start (recently? , after a software update?) Have you looked at the many sensor dropping / not connecting forum topics (in 530, 830, 1030, 1030+ forums, the software is the same.

It’s the latest update on software and started happening recently

Try searching for sensor drops in the search bar of this forum.

There are dozens scattered in the 530/830/1030/1030+ & now 1040 forums, many recent but also going back years. They are of two major varieties, sensor drops & sensors not connecting/re-connecting. They seem to come in waves, often clustered after specific software version updates, 9.40 the most recent with lots of reports but 8.00 also a lot. Garmin does not recognise this as an actual problem, many users do not have the problem but many do have it and they will often revert back to a version they believe minimises or eliminates the issue, 9.10 & 7.10 are popular versions to revert to.

As Peter says, just search in the sub-forums or just scroll back a page or two of topics, other than reverting or perhaps not using bluetooth connections there does not appear to be a common or consistent solution.
