Fenix 7X vs Edge 530 Different Training Load

I am aware that the older Fenix 5 plus series and Edge 530 give different training status and load due to their calculation method. My new Fenix 7X and Edge 530 have now started to show different training load and occasionally different Training Status. 

Initially the 530 and 7X were within 2-3 when it came to training load numbers but up until 2 weeks ago it is vastly different.

I always use True Up and have even deleted history on both devices, turned off True Up, synced, turned back on True Up and re-synced to make sure both devices have the exact same activity history but the 530 just cannot catch up. I thought it calculated the same.

    I've added some details to your proposal and now everything works as it should. Third ride without problems. I hope it's not a coincidence and there won't be any issues in the future.

    I only use the Edge 530 to record rides. 

    1. Disconnect the watch from WiFi and phone.
    2. Turn on Edge and sync with GC, twice to be sure.
    3. End your ride, save and sync the Edge to GC, twice to be sure. The ride should be visible in GC now.
    4. Turn off Edge.
    5. Sync your watch with GC twice. After the second sync, the training load appears in the GC for the watch and Edge.
