Edge 530 sensor dropouts since installing 8.0 firmware

After installing the new 8.0 software/firmware on my Edge 530, I'm getting repeated sensor loss and then Found messages (about every 5-15 second) while on a ride.

It's only the connection to my SRAM eTap that's having this issue and it wasn't occurring with the 7.10 version.

There's no battery warning from the eTap and they (front and rear derailleur) are shifting just fine.

Other ANT+ devices are all Garmin and no dropouts seems to be occurring for any of them: Remote, HR, Vector Power Meter Pedals.

I'm going to try removing the device and rediscover it as well as fully charge the eTap batteries to see if that makes a difference.

Anyone experience anything similar with the new 8.0 version?

8.20 does NOT resolve the dropouts for me. I had about a dozen drop outs of the course of a 3 hour ride.

Yes. HRM that worked perfectly before is now doing exactly the same with regular dropouts.

I also have dropouts of the speed sensor 2 for the first time with 8.00. Only every some minutes but still annoying.

Same here. Installed 8.0 and my Giant Ridesense speed/cadence sensor (connected as ANT+) started dropping out. I tried deleting it and re-discovering it, I tried two different new batteries in the sensor, no joy. It drops out periodically, but when it drops out it usually drops again within 15 seconds. Time between dropouts can vary between minutes to tens of minutes with no pattern to it that I can discern.

I tested with 8.1 today and the dropouts persisted, so no, I don't think 8.1 addressed it.

I'm not sure what fixed mine, I'm still running version 8.00 and I only did two things: I removed the device entry in the 530 for my eTap and rediscovered it and I fully changed both batteries (front and rear derailleurs) and today on a 60 mile ride I had no dropouts whatsoever.

Dropouts still happening in 8.10, also after sensor removal/reconnect. At least it's only every some minutes for me, but still annoying and worked before. Any ideas?

Same here, exactly the described issue. Disconnect/connects each 5 to 15 seconds. Speed sensor calibration gives wrong values because of that, so recorded distance/speed was not correct at all. (Two Magene sensors, One cadence, one speed. battery full)

8.1 did not solve (but that was only to fix a trailforks error)

Another edge 530 (other bike) with one magene, one 4iiii sensor and a garmin HR sensor from watch did not have the issue on 8.x firmware.

Same problem here. Speed and cadence-sensor are keep dropping out every few minutes.
