The display in the 530 is designed to readable in direct sunlight. If you are having issues reading the display in more shaded environments, we would suggest trying to alter your backlight settings.

To each profile you can assign a speciffic color, but I think the main text will be always black.
As I noted in my own thread, there is something very odd with the way the screen works in the 530. Turning the device 90 degrees makes it MUCH easier to read.
