Why 6.2FW for 530

I don’t understand why there is a fw 6.2 release with elevation correction as there was no bug of elevation with 6.0fw on edge 530. Bug was on 1030 but never had overestimated elevation on 6.0FW...

i really don’t understand this release note???

There are at least half a dozen threads about altitude calculation and cumulation problems since probably FW 3.whatever on the E530.

Mine was offset only starting FW6.0.

It was never an issue before.

I'll check it soon to see if it was fixed.

Well if your works fine, then there really is no reason for Garmin to try to fix other people's devices, right?

What i mean is i understood that only 1030 edges Had this problem .

I have 2 edges 530 at home and no problems of elevation

My first 530 all of a sudden had this issue. Got it replaced because of jamming buttons.

Now, my replacement also started having buttons jammed, but luckily no elevation issues. That's why I'm hesitant asking for a second replacement.
