Hello, I just registered to confirm that I have the same issue. The device randomly rebooted mid-ride while on 5.50. I never had this issue before on 5.10. Moreover, this also occurred around the 40K mark
For those experiencing reboots on 5.50, you may want to report it to Garmin themselves as they may ask for some logs of your device which will help fix this for you and others.
They contacted me based on this thread but I had already factory reset my device and am no longer having issues. I did however provide feedback and logs based on the information in the Beta 5.48 software when I was on that (the beta post and link to software and instructions is still at the top of page) for my resets and Garmin had asked for additional info at that time.
Can you please explain what "to Garmin themselves"? Is there any bug tracker elsewehre? Or do you mean contact support via email? I don't even find an email address on the German Garmin support website!
applied latest firmware, did a 55 mile ride at weekend and no reboots. Hopefully no worse than when on 5.10 firmware. Will report back if it happens again and then raise with Garmin support.
