Same here, device rebooted 40k into a ride (annoyingly right when i needed turn guidance) but took 1 minute to restart itself and the course tracking seemed to pick up where it left off.
It showed up on my device this morning, so it looks like the rollout is still going. I'm a bit scared to install in though, might keep rolling on 5.20 for a while...
I updated from a stable 5.10 to 5.44 and 5.48 and immediately started having reboots when starting rides. It’s probably quite a big jump software wise. I backed up the settings, factory reset the device and loaded the settings back in again, haven’t had a reset since.
So, while you shouldn’t need to, perhaps a factory reset might be worthwhile?
It's worth to do this anyhow indeed, still running 5.10, once the update is ready, i will follow this procedure, not even try to do without the factory-reset...
I'm still on firmware 5.10. On the odd occasion, usually a longer ride (over 40Km) the device will reboot mid ride. At the moment I'm holding off applying the latest firmware until the dust settles a bit. A little unsure if I'm going to be any better off with the later over the 5.10. The full device reset sounds like an option but still a risk huh!
