Hi all,
My edge 530 (often, not always i think) shows a low-detailed map when it pops up a turn by turn instruction. If I am in map view, the maps is detailed though. Screenshots should be clearer ;) Any ideas?

Hi,
This looks like a repeat of the super-zooming problem described here https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/cycling/f/edge-530/214362/is-my-edge-getting-confused-when-navigating-a-route-see-pics
Does anyone know if this super-zooming issue (if thats what it is) has been resolved now (apologies - not in a position to test it myself).
Regards
Same problem still present in firmware 5.50 and it‘s not just limited to roundabouts. Today my Edge 530 was instructing me to switch from the road to bike path which is located about 1-2 meters to my right. Unfortunately due to the huge zoom level of the popup it looked as if I should take a 90 degree turn to the right, into a road that wasn’t there and just keep going that way. Only after checking the regular map with a reasonable zoom level I noticed that it was just a very, very slight turn from the road to the bike bath, which was technically a correct direction but very hard to understand while riding above 35 km/h.
It also explains all those other occasional confusing turn directions I received in the past. This needs to be fixed - Garmin should set a maximum zoom level for the popup which will never be exceeded.
