how to stop a connect iQ activity?

i have a connect iq activity running and that blocks me from doing anything else on the device. Can someone please tell me how i can stop a connect iq activity? i tried everything and googled for an hour but can not find anything about that.

Literally having this EXACT thing happen to me. Routing me to the start of the trail head and will not shut off.

As for Komoot, I've been in contact with them via Twitter. They know there are issues since 7.0.0 and are working on finding a solution. No estimate yet.

its definitely trailforks, what i did is start a navigation to the start of a trail and thats where its stuck. i cant start or stop anything, the buttons dont do anything to that activity.

yeah the start button doesnt do anything, i anyways want to do the trail so i will let it run and see if it works after i complete it. otherwise i will do that hard reset.

so ive been riding the trail, and it did not recover afterwards. then i did the hardreset and when i restarted the device it picked off the activity again but now in a working state. so truns out something indeed was frozen.

For now everything works again. thanks for the assistance Martin10

Same exact thing happened to me. It's so annoying. For me it was a Strava Route that I had accidentally started. But there was no way to stop it. Luckily I was able to use Garmin Express to remove the Strava Route app. That should cure it forever.

I have the same thing (v 4.0 on my 1030+) and I cannot QUIT this IQ application. Message "close the app etc". I then did a HARD RESET of my 1030+ and then it went well.

After my Ride i remove STRAVA IQ app. I will see next time if I still have this issue.

Just to follow up on my message: removing the Strava Connect IQ app really did solve the problem. It didn't provide me any value so it's all good. Routes designed in Strava still automatically sync to my 530. How can there be no way to stop a CIQ app once running? Seems like a major bug.

Now if only we could remove the Virtual Partner as easily!

As of version 7.0.0 I have the same issue with the iq app Komoot.

How do you sync Strava routes without the Strava Connect IQ app? If I could sync routes without the CIQ app then I will delete the app as well. Thanks.
