Can I transfer my saved locations from my old Edge Explore 820 to a new Edge 530?

Yes. When I turned on the 530 , there were no saved locations.

I think it must work because location.fit use fit1 format. Th old location.fit file must be put in the NewFiles Directory of the new Edge and after restart of the new Edge all will be there.

For extracting all data in the location.fit-File user can use the fit-sdk (Java Examples) or FitFileRepairTool. I knew u knew this tools to.
