On my edge 820 I use the shifters on my Campagnolo EPS V3 to scroll through the pages and to activate the lap function. I can't seem to get that working on the edge 530.
Can anyone guide me?

You should find this helpful:
www.campagnolo.com/.../eps_v3_garmin_connection_to_v3_eps_and_settings_with_garmin_edge1000_and_garmin_edge520_models
I will check with the factory, whether Campagnolo implemented full interaction with Edge 530
I spoke to my opposite number in the Service Dept at Campagnolo early this morning.
In translation (so maybe some loss-in-translation from what he said) - he tells me it works on the 530, set up is the same as with other Garmin devices, so you need to enable the sensors just the same - but since the last revision of the firmware, there is a difference ... after about 35sec, the device sensor connection goes into "sleep" mode.
It means that, if you press the MODE button to scroll or set a lap, after 35sec, the Garmin behaves as if the sensor has just been "woken up" - the may be a short delay and a tone, telling that the sensor is connected.
Once the sensor is "woken up", the connection works as it does with G1000, 820 and 520.
