Screen Will not turn on.

My edge 530 screen stopped working. I can set the cycle alarm and tricker it with the app on my phone. I can also see that it's turned on in the app. But nothing will show up on the screen.

Did you try pressing power 10 seconds?

Also if that does not help it might just be brightness…

I tried this for 10 seconds did not work. How can I get a replacement or my money back. this is the second 530 unit that I have the same problem. I think I will never a garmin ever again.

the battery level went down to zero, started to charge it. It blinked, flashed on and off, and now when I look it it, dark screen.. won't power on, nothing. It looks like a call to technical support. I haven't had the GD thing THAT long. And now, they'll replace it with a refurb.

Anyone have suggestions on how to get your edge 800 a power button... mine still works, but no more button... it disintegrated, and I still have it.

the 10 second power try didn't do squat. It still stares at me like the dark thing that it is.

530 worked flawlessly & then darkness - BUT then found this and it come back to life after a 10 second hold down on Power Button !!!

I had to hold the power for a good 30 seconds.. maybe even 40... and voila, it came back to life. <shrug>

Had same problem after not having used the computer for a month or so as I was riding indoors. Pushing the power button for 10 seconds worked for me.

Thanks, that just help me. I think it was due to software update (confirmation of soft. was necessary after turning it on by holding the button for 10 sec).

I pressed the power button and the bottom two buttons simultaneuosly and it magically started to work again
