Did you try pressing power 10 seconds?

Yes; DO a factory reset.
I.e. press and hold power button for 10 seconds.

Same problem. 530 won't turn on after charging. Occasionally ten second hold works, sometimes have to hook it up to computer and do different things. All of which are not appropriate when your buddies are waiting to go for a ride. Seems Garmin makes products that will you what size b.m. you will have in three days but you can't turn the thing on. Did they assign an intern to handle the on/off programming? Terrible. And you can't get them on the phone without wasting an afternoon. No mas!
Well same probleme here, but i cannot solved it - so i send yesterday to Garmin service. Hope they find solution or give me new Garmin or refund me back.

Same result here. It’s a known problem on early 530s where the screen detaches from a circuit board. Customer service was great and sent me a replacement at no cost after receiving return of original unit.
