Can't connect Edge remote

I've got EDGE 530 MTB BUNDLE. After many attempts the remote cant connect with Garmin 530 edge. Other ANT+ devices e.g. speed and Heart connect fine. Thanks.

After selecting the remote control you need to push the 'up' button and then select 'add sensor'.
