Garmin Edge 1050 does not appear on Finder menu on Mac Tahoe IOS 26.0

Nothing new.... update New Apple IOS 26 for 2025

When I connect the Garmin Edge to my Mac, it doesn't show up in Finder. However, Garmin Express recognizes it, but I still can't export a file from RWGPS to the Garmin Edge 1050. How long have we been waiting for Garmin's and Apple's updates? I need to use Windows 11 on my PC.

You might need something like OpenMTP, on your Mac. It is free and its only purpose is accessing MTP devices like your Edge 1050

There's an alternative to openMTP called Commander that I already had for other purposes. It works to get access to the Edge1050. It isn't free, but works every time. apps.apple.com/.../id1035236694
