Freezing by swapping menu

My device is on firmware 13.13 and keeps freezing when I swipe down the menu and swipe left/right between Strava segments, notifications, weather, Garmin Pay etc.

It happens regardless of whether an activity is in progress or not. Today I was riding and tried to check my notifications. I swiped down to open the menu and swiped to the notifications screen, but the device froze.

I had to hold the power button for 20 seconds to force a restart. Fortunately, my ride was not lost.

I have no additional maps installed—only the default Garmin maps. I bought this unit two weeks ago.

    Beta bug reporting is still locked so I guess you have no other channel for reporting this significant BUG, there are mentions in various other 1050 forum threads

    This section is currently in a read-only state while there is no active beta.

    OP is on 13.13 which is known for freezes.

    There is a Beta 13.14, which seems has fixed the freezes.
    He should wait for publishing as common version or join the beta program.

    As I understend, the device freezes because of 3-rd party maps, but i'm using the official Garmin maps. Maybe the root cause is the same. I hope. And will be solved in the upcoming hotfix

    Also, my unit didn’t freeze during rides. I’ve ridden with this device for 141 km (with and without navigation) without any freezing during activity. It froze only when I was swapping the top menu to read missed messages.
