my touchscreen freezes every few minutes. sometimes it works after a few swipes or taps. if i stop my ride, turn the edge off and on again it works again for a while. is this a software problem or can i fix this?

We are investigating reports of touchscreen performance issues on Edge 1050 (especially while riding in cold, wet conditions).

yesterday i did a ride and the weather was warmer in belgium. when it was more than 14 degrees on my garmin i had no problem with the touchscreen. when the temperature later on the ride dropped below 14…
First ride witth the new 1050.
TouchScreen totaly freezes for complete ride. Even when powered of and on several times.
Didnt have this with the 1040 solar, 1030 and the older models.
What to fo now?
