How can I deactivate expanded view before navigating?

While navigation this expanded view comes many times on my screen and i have to turn it manually off on the screen.

How can I deactivate it?

To deactivate "Autozoom" doesn't help!

While navigation this image:

[sorry, I can't insert picture]

plops on my garmin.

This happens quite often and I always have to press the "X" to get it hidden.

Can anybody help ?

The settings of the 1040 and 1050 do not differ significantly in the case of autozoom
