Strava Segments not transferring to Edge 1050

Garmin says this is a Strava issue and Strava says this is a Garmin issue. I cannot get live segments to work. I've tried everything I can think of (along with suggestions from Garmin & Strava). Has anyone else had this same issue? If so, what is the solution?

If it's a legal thing, it should be clearly outlined somewhere. This would eliminate all the guessing by all of us here (and in many other similar threads on this board).

Any chance they are downhill segments. Strava considers anything with an average grade of <= -0.25 % to be downhill. Strava will not transfer over downhill segments.

No, I don’t think I even have any of those. Most are climbs or long flat segments.

One more bit of info that might help. Both acoustic and e-bike segments have the same issue. Although, without deleting any segments, I’m not sure how to test if the problem might arise from one of the types of activities and not the other.

Could you post the URL to one of the segments that does not transfer. I will try it on my unit.

Are ebike segments not available as "live" segments? I'm pretty sure that the same segment was available on my Edge 1030+

I contacted Strava about this, but I never seem to get a response other than a canned answer that does not help.

Same issue here, It seemed to work before but will not at all now. Ive tried the star/ unstar before building a course, after building a course. All the methods and they will not show up at all. Tons of complaints on forums and no real solution from Garmin.
