No maptheme folder

I got my 1050 and realised that there is no possibility to change the maptheme.
The maptheme folder no longer exists and you can't select any other mapthemes.
This is very annoying, I am deprived of the opportunity to customise the device according to my colour preferences.

All the video reviews I have seen do seem to have a "Hi Visibility" style MapTheme (ie white background, minimal ground cover and black / gray roads) together with a bigger but "Classic" style VEHICLE…

All the video reviews I have seen do seem to have a "Hi Visibility" style MapTheme (ie white background, minimal ground cover and black / gray roads) together with a bigger but "Classic" style VEHICLE. Losing the MapTheme would be a big pain for me but I am unlikely to consider a replacement of my 1040 for many years.

I am really disappointed with the device,
I'm going to send it back, unfortunately I've already sold my 1040.
I am considering moving away from Garmin.
