I'm having some issues with a relatively new (a couple of months old) Edge 1040, the battery doesn't seem to be charging fully, or charging very very slowly.
At first I thought that the device was overheating, and that the internal circuitry is preventing the damage to the device. However that does not seem to be the case, since the device shows the temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, which is some 4-5 degrees off of the actual value, but shouldn't be nearly enough for the device not to charge.
When looking at the power draw, it seems that the device is using just 5V at 0.05-0.2A, depending whether the device is on or in sleep mode.
This does not look like normal charging behavior to me. I've tried several chargers, all of which work perfectly fine with other devices. I know some devices are quite picky regarding the charges, but I don't think this is one of them.
Any advice is more than welcome at this stage. Thanks!
