Garmin connect has changed to Chinese on my Edge 1040 does anyone know how to get it back to English

App version on my iPhone is 5.9.1.1.

My 1040 is in the correct language so not sure if or why firmware on the device should affect the phone app?

26.16 fixed it for me. Now they even released 26.17 with two unrelated bugfixes. Also try to force close Connect on your phone after updating the Garmin.

Yep tried again today, rebooted everything and seems to work after the second try. Initially switched to English then reverted back to Chinese. Second time seems ok, let's see?

As of iOS 18.3.1 and Connect v. 5.10.0.22 there is no language option for Connect under App settings

Seems the issue is fixed with new update v26.17 and ios 18.3.1 and whatever latest Connect app.

Same here.  Garmin Connect is not even listed as a app that is able to do "per app language" on my device.

Hmm - that solution from andorsn doesn’t work here. Weird.

Edit: ah just seen an update is supposed to fix it. Not downloading that via Connect, claims it’s up to date. Will have to try via Express…
