Garmin connect has changed to Chinese on my Edge 1040 does anyone know how to get it back to English

How can 26.16 release last week if they released 26.12 beta last week and mine never updated to 26.16 until manually triggering update? Where do you get the list of firmware updates (I always struggled finding).

The issue was with WiFi and Bluetooth. I think it takes like 15 minutes to transfer the firmware and during that time it will say no updates available. Amd when it says Transfer in progress, but the app and status icon don't show that. You can never tell if data is transferring.

Have you tried force closing the Connect app? I just did a quick check with 26.16 and it seems that the problem is fixed. When the unit connects, the device settings don't change language.

Sry my mistake is 26.14 release last week to resolve the 26.12 crash while riding outdoor. My device was on 26.14 on 8th feb.

Garmin Edge 1040 solar keeps showing device page in CHINESE

after an entire month of the event in which our devices started rebooting continuously, and that the chinese menu appeared in our "garmin connect" in android devices, even after updating both the app and 1040 software, it keeps showing in chinese, being unable to take control of out own devices.

Whatever the latest is, I updated 2 days ago. I'll check the specific version on the device. Is there a recommended one?
