GPS signal problem

After 30 minutes of rest at point 1 under the bridge

The GPS signal "fly" to the other side of the river (point 2) 

After a couple minutes of ride,  the gps signal adjust itself slowly to where I was at point 3

I've never had this issue before with my old old old Edge 800

I was using best accuracy mode (dual band multi GNSS),  latest firmware

Is it the bug of dual band?  (different navi system compatible problem?)

    Most likely the pause under a bridge makes the GPS signal weak/wrong , and causes the wrong location, when out in the open again it will get the  stronger signal and put you, where you are. GPS recievers need to "see" an open sky, in order to work properly.

    I see the display is power.  Try changing to a different overlay.  I am sure I have seen another thread where if the display is power it seems to cause an issue in the display of the route

    Yes,  I know what you mean.  I just don't like the way and speed of location adjustment from point 2 to 3. This is 1040, the flagship of edge series at the moment.   One of the reason why we pay for such high price is GPS accuracy.  Even if there is a weak signal causing wrong location,  1040 should adjust immediately from point 2 to point 1, not from point 2 to point 3. I'll try to switch the GPS option from multi-band (best accuracy)  to balanced.  Might be there is still some bugs with multi-band GPS 

    For your info:  the distance between point 1 and 2 nearly 1km
