Incorrect GPS positions while LIVE TRACK is activated (EDGE 1040)

Problem with recorded / transmitted GPS positions while LIVE TRACK is activated (EDGE 1040, 12.14)

Case 1) Without coupling to Garmin Connect and Iphone via LIVE TRACK, the track recording works perfectly, i.e. if recorded purely via Edge 1040 in "stand-alone mode"  (positions are completely correct).

Case 2) BUT different, if Live Tracking is activated (and of course coupling established to the IPhone and the Garmin Connect there) -> Then the email contacts receive the tracking link, but the transmitted positions are not correct to a large extent at all, the thereby recorded route and at the end in Connect considered route the recording is on more than 2/3 of the driven route completely off (some km), strangely enough, it is very accurate on a few sections.

For GPS, "Balanced, Mulit-GNSS" is selected in both cases.

Is the problem known? What is the workaround / solution?
