Edge 1040 APAC still not version 14.20

Not sure why Garmin official claims "New Edge 1040 Series Version 14.20 Now Available (Live at 100%)"....  Are we outside of that 100%???

I’ve pointed that out to them repeatedly, so their ‘edge 1040 series’ and ‘100% live’ statements are clearly deliberate.  It’s as if to them half of the world does not exist.  They keep making these false statements.  It’s not just once.

Also there is no indication on their website or the device itself that it is a different model and that software will be months late.  12.16 came out early July!

I’ve asked for a refund/replacement, but had no luck.  Does anyone know how to hack the device?

Can't they just split up the forums into ROW and APAC, since it is clearly 2 "separate" devices the way they are approaching the firmwares.

Or clearly demarcated the firmware as

14.20 - ROW (100% Live)

Is it that hard, Garmin? 

ROW users get to debug for APAC users! What's not to like?

APAC has released V14.22 (Taiwan)

Confirmed 14.22 made to my device directly over Wi-Fi connection. Garmin Connect was not yet showing any new software available for downloading. Thank you Team Garmin!

Same for SEA.  14.22.  Has anyone found release notes?  The training data seems better and more in line with Epix?

I propose that they first develop and release software for APAC and then some 1 to 3 months later provide the occasional unmentioned update for ROW.  Let's see how well that goes with managing customer expectations.
