Daily suggested workout different between Edge and Fenix

I have a Fenix 6 Solar and an Edge 1040, the two devices are finally showing the same Training Status, Load Focus and Acute Load but the Daily Suggestion is different most days. Today for example, the Edge says 1:55 base ride while the Fenix 42 mins Tempo.

Any idea?

    Up! Any updates on the issue? One of the most frustrating things when owning Edge830 and FR255 is manually inputing suggested workouts from watch to Edge. I was going to upgrade to E1040 or 840, but if suggested workout is different on new Edge and fairly new Forerunner, than the upgrade is not worth the money for me.

    Unfortunately, they're still different most of the time.  I have the FR955 and the E1040.  Sure would be nice if the DSW was synced between the two.  I think the 955 should have priority over the DSW, since it records sleep and HRV during sleep.  Some parameters sync just fine between the two, so I'm not sure why this would be so difficult to solve.

    I also just submitted an "idea" to Garmin suggesting the DSW is synced between the edge units and the forerunner watches, or at least give us the option to make that selection.  Only makes sense IMO.

    Well that sucks, I guess I will wait with Edge upgrade.

    I have a feeling that somewhere there Garmin has a roadmap with PhysioTruUp 2.0 scheduled to be released in 2025 on Edge 1040Plus that will sync also Daily Suggested Workout but only with watches released after 2024. Not available on previous devices... that is a bit frustrating strategy.

    The "idea" idea is a good idea, I will contact support with that too, maybe some extra pressure will help.
