Strava Live Segments failure

Every single segment. All the way of a segment it gives me "off the segment" massage (VERY ANNOYING). Does not give "dist to go", it gives me zero. But it gives my time on the segment and time to nearest competitor.

The whole implementation of strava on the 1040 should probably be redone. It has been really unreliable and the off segment alerts drive me f'ing crazy. Currently I have ALL alerts on the 1040 disabled…

Sometimes it shows up. Sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes I get off segment alerts while on segment. Other times I get off segment alerts while off segment. Sometimes I'm off segment and there is no alert. Sometimes the live segment screen will just disappear mid segment. I've given up on it and just wait until i get home.

What I have realized is that buying the 1040 was really a preorder with advance delivery. The 1040 is a device intended for Christmas 2022 release, we just got to have them before they were finished. Almost feels good when you think about it that way. :)

Implementation of Strava should be redone - you mean delete and connect from the very beginning, or Garmin developers should make some corrections?
