4iiii precision 3

I cannot seem to get this one working on the 1040. It sometimes finds the sensor on ant+, but connection is never stable enough to give any output at all. It has never showed on bluetooth. Other sensors connect fine (hr, speed).

Tried resetting and even a new different user. Nothing unfortantly. Also 100% sure it has nothing to do with ciq issue.

It connects within a second to my phone or Fenix 6x, so the problem is defenitly the Edge.

Anyone else seeing this and/or having a working precision 3 on the 1040?

    Just for info, garmin forerunner 955 beta firmware solves the issue

    Dear Garmin support,

    I cannot properly connect Edge 530 with 4iiii Precision 3 power meter. It worked fine for 1 day, then ANT+ connections dropped constantly to a point it did not connect anymore. One of the most frustrating thing when you train on target.

    I literally sent tons of emails to 4iiii support but they have no clue...

    Have you addressed the issue for all Edge devices? Any fix in the pipeline? I see no change whatsoever.

    Now I sent the 4iiii PM for replacement but I have the feeling it will happen again. If it's the case I will try on a Wahoo unit and if it functions properly, I will replace my Edge 530 with a Wahoo Roam.

    Please help your clients with this problem.
