1040 Availability

I'm spinning up a thread for users to share where the 1040 is available.  I haven't found any locally (major city). 

I've ordered online today from 3 shops, each showed in stock at the time of payment.  When I called each store, I found that they did not have them in stock yet, and did not have a known date when they will have them.

    I am from the UK and my family and I moved to North Carolina 3 years ago, my Mum in the UK still insists the weather is similar and it's always nice in the UK. Every time I check the weather its sunny here and cloudy there ;-)

    I managed to get one of the Solar 1040's and it's excellent, on my first 3 hour ride the solar added another 58 minutes of usage and since then, it's recharged itself sat on a window ledge waiting for the next ride. I doubt I will have to plug it in until the winter.

    You would think Garmin should at least be quite good at distribution (they struggle with software development & testing) but in my region (AU) now, a week since launch, no retailer has had stock, does not know when they will have first stock, the local Garmin web site is accepting orders (& payment) but says "ready to ship in 4-7 business days" and has said this since launch!
