gps update issue

I have a issue with my 1030 plus (SN: 6ET242580) with software version 6.75. The unit has stopped working and the was constantly updating the GPS firmware. When it restarted it couldn't find the maps.

I have tried resetting it, connecting to my computer and removing the folders of /new files and RemoteSW as recommended for the Garmin 830 with a similar issue.

Now I can't seem to acquire any satellites, and the unit is still not working

I would appreciate any advice

You may need to try doing a reset of the unit.

Non-prompted Non-Vol Clear - Clears NV and deletes all FIT files including Activities, Courses, Workouts.

Turn device off
Hold Lap/Reset and Start/Stop
Press and release the power button
Continue to hold only Lap/Reset and Start/Stop
Release Lap/Reset and Start/Stop when the Garmin Logo is cleared
The unit will restart and clear non-vol
