Just got a 1030 Plus, followed instructions, played around with trying to connect until I got frustrated and resorted to the internet.
For me, the garmin shows up in my iPhone Bluetooth, I can connect and pair but it isn’t fully connected - has to go through the app too.
So I open up the “Select an Accessory” tab and have to wait 4.5 minutes (I’ve timed) until I can view the device is available to pair. However! At that point the app has timed out and I can’t pair the device. Each time I go and “forget” the device in my Bluetooth to start over as well as restarting both my phone and the garmin.
A little frustrating for “top of the line” technology.
