Wrong Temperature

Hello

My Edge 1030+ seems to be +4 to +5 degrees Celsius off.

Is there any way to recalibrate it ?

Agree with you, +4, +5 C is a lot !!!

I don't expect the Garmin to be a reference temperature tool but this margin of error is not acceptable (not even a cheap Chinese thermometer has that large of a deviation…

Since i use ICQ data fields HMs_DIY with temperature correction, the original temperature field is correct !, i have same temperature on both fields. Is it a coincidence ? (with firmware 6.10).

Have you done the temperature correction in the IQ app through Garmin Connect ? There is afield where you can change the offset value

I've only download the HMs DIY#1 app, put your formula for temperature and add a IQ data fied. Now i compare original and IQ fields,

You need to go to the HMs IQ settings in Express or Connect Mobile and adjust the offset in the data field otherwise both temps will be the same. I apply -6F
