Course Points Missing on Device

Added bunch of course points in the Garmin Connect Web and Mobile App to help me through a course but when I loaded the course onto the device I could only see the distance to the End and nothing else appearing in the Points List. I have triple-checked the option to show Course Points was On. This was working perfectly fine before. Anyone experiening the same? Any workaround? Running firmware version 5.30 and device is Edge 1030 Plus Asia.

    Maybe try adjusting the course slightly to see if that forces a course update on your unit which should include the course points?  If you just added the course points maybe it isn't updating the course on your unit as that hasn't actually changed.

    Is this for an outside ride or Indoor Trainer ride?.

    Garmin added Course Points for Indoor Trainer rides in my 530  FW 7.0 / your 4.0 ? ("Fixed course points for indoor trainer rides") BUT they disappeared again in FW 8 / Your 5 ??

    My course points work OK for Outdoor rides in my FW 8 & 9 / your 5 & 6 (in 6 they have been further enhanced to have visible pink circle background to the turn direction arrows on the map) but not at all for Indoor Rides

    This is for Outdoor riding. I had the course points (rest and coffee stops) populated before uploading the course to the device. Tried uploading the course via both mobile app and PC USB cable made no difference.

    I unfortunately don't have a 1030+ so can't help all that much.

    You could export the Course as a TCX and then examine it with a Text Editor like Notepad on windows, the "Course Points" are appended at the end of the file and look like...

    This would al least show if GC is including them and work back from there. As I said mine work but I use RWGPS for course planning / export, There is a recent report (year old issue but new instance reported today) in the 830 forum of the same issue so perhaps some change in GC / GE Mobile??

    Picked up the latest firmware version 6.10 which seems to have fixed this issue. Love the new design of the Course Points page!
