Course points

Not sure if this is a problem with edge or with GC app on iOS. When creating a course in GC on web with added course points (food, summit, etc), and then sending to device, the course point screen displays the correct distances to course point. If I create the same course via GC app with the same course points, and then send to device, the course point screen displays 0ft for all course points. It makes no difference if I send the course to the device through the app or through the web. The course points display correctly in the map screen. Anybody else notice this?

    That would be my guess in that the timestamps are messed up when the data was merged.

    Could be. I have now got it to work by downloading a FIT from PlotARoute and transferring it by USB, bypassing GC.

    The course points show in gpx files on OS Maps, PlotARoute, BikeGPX and Strava. It was just the Edge that wasn't happy! This is the first time this glitch has happened. (It also glitched with the virtual partner speed, which it had inexplicably increased to 77kmh!)

    But we're good now...

    They might have been converted to waypoints.

    If you load the GPX file on the Garmin, whatever they are, they won't show up as course points.

    There is nothing in the GPX file definition that supports actual course points.
