Up loaded route not showing in courses

The course name (in the first 15 characters) isn't the same as an existing course?

I used a previous route I rode and changed the name of that route before saving it as a route and sending it to my device. I looked through all the routes on my 1030+ but it wasn't on there. I tried again last night and still the same result. Garmin Connect on my phone said it would show once it had synced.I then plugged the 1030+ into my laptop to sync on Garmin Connect and still no route?

If you made any changes to the previous route when you saved it with the new name check the original route to see if the changes are there instead.

I just transferred again and this time I opened the garmin file and the route went into new files but after syncing yet again it didn't go into courses??

Make sure you haven't exceeded the limit for the number of courses on your device. For the Edge 1000 it was 100 . Not sure if that rule applies to the 1030 though :-)
