Garmin - please change history line thickness - behavior

Hi 

I have an big issue , I don't understand why Garmin changed history line color , or at least I remember that was thicker and easy to read

While purple line for navigation is ok , history line is very very thin, and the color is not distinguish at all 

In the woods because of the reflections , I cannot see where I have ride before , why you cannot put the history line as thick as the navigation line? 

To be honest I cannot use my Garmin 1030   , comparing to the competition 

Here is "readable", but in actual use is not 

Please , please fix this

    You will have the option to change the history line color in your activity profile settings. Separately, we are looking into a couple of reports that this is not working at the moment, but I am unable to recreate it so far. 

    This feedback will be escalated, but I cannot guarantee this change will be implemented. I personally agree that the history line can be less visible than the navigation line depending on the color setting/mapping displayed.

    Thank you for your prompt answer

    There are two different issues

    1.history line is not visible, no matter of what color you pick, is simple not visible enough ,

    the only line I can see very, very well, is  the purple line that is generated by navigation

    2.as you said, sometimes no matter what history line collor you choose, it will display different collor

    If I ride in the woods where are alot of shadows , belive me you will not see history line

    We always look for ways to make sure our devices are accessible to everyone, so I promise this suggestion will be escalated appropriately. I do apologize for not having an immediate solution.

    Former Member, I know that is not possible for an immedate solution, thanks for your feeback

    For collor: I have test  right now, in GPS simulator, history line color is set to blue but actually is green when I start an activity and navigate to a point(in the house)

    Month ago I had email with Edge Beta Team to make history line thicker. It is unreadable. They promised to do so in one of next updates.
    Please MAKE HISTORY LINE THICKER!
    (and „always visible“ courses too)

    Btw: on my Edge 1030 PLUS history line color is not changable anymore. It happened while software 3 and it is still not possible with actual 4.0.

    Sorry mate, I have post in Plus forum, but i think the behaviour is the same for both devices

    Yes, "always visible line" for courses has the same behaviour, more than this , happend to me to have same collor both for course and for history , and it was a mess, lucky me that I was not alone Slight smile

    Yes, it seems Edge 1030 (normal) and Edge 1030 PLUS software releases now go some kind of synchronized.
    (same features - same lacks - same bugs Joy)

    I am curious how Edge 830 behaves and if is the same as 1030 devices

    One reason it's thinner is so it doesn't hide the other lines.

    The active track line is magenta with black borders.

    The active calculated route is light magenta with darker magenta borders. It's wider than the active track line.

    The width of all these lines on pixels might be the same across all the devices.

    That means a line on a small screen with higher resolution is going to be visually smaller.

    @Garmin-Blake,

    A bit off-topic, but I can confirm that also on the Edge Explore with software version 5.20 (latest) the color of the History Line does not change, independent on the setting - it shows allways as cyan (light blue) as it allways did with the older software versions. A full reset does not fix it.
