Am looking for some help please - I have a connectivity issue between a Garmin Edge 1000 and Rally 100 Left (main) and Right ('Upgrade') power meter pedals.
I have had several discussions with Garmin support re this, including sending a video clearly detailing the lack of connectivity, but am getting nowhere so would like to ask...:
Is there anyone successfully using an Edge 1000 unit with paired (dual sided) Rally 100 pedals...?
So far I have...:
- Installed and paired the Left Rally 100 Power Meter pedal with no issue - it pairs with the Edge 1000 no problem
- Installed the Right Rally 100 Power Metre pedal on the crank.- get a green and a red light initially when turning it
- Turned pedals and cranks to wake the power metres up - they both light up momentarily
- Accessed the Sensors / Power / Sensor Details menu looking for the "Pair Right Pedal" prompt - it does not exist on my Edge 1000
- Tried to add the Right Pedal via "Search All" and the "Power" options in the "Add Sensor" menu option - it does not find it
- Swapped Batteries between pedals and done all of the above - Left still works, Right remains invisible - so batteries are all fine
- Turned Edge 1000 GPS unit off and on multiple times and repeated all of the above - it does not help - but I've tried the off and on again approach
- Disconnected ALL other sensors (Cadence / Heart Rate) and repeated all of the above - no success - still only finds the Left pedal
Does anyone have a solution that does not involve repeating any of the above over and over...? Does anyone else have a dual sided setup working on an Edge 1000...?
The Edge 1000 RRP (although now discontinued) is £500, the Left pedal £429 and the Right ('upgrade') Pedal is £469.00 - I pretty much paid RRP for all three components making my total spend around the £1 398.00 - thats a lot of money for a one sided power metre option.
Any thoughts would be very welcome, many many thanks,
Tb
