The Thorns map has a preview for free you can download of the Peak District. TBH for me it's a tossup between the Thorns and TT. The ROW's push it for me :)

Try checking for updates again...it looks like we have updated this course in the month of October 2024.

After previewing the course on our system, hole 2 is showing as a par 4 and hole 14 is showing as a par 3.

I know there are/were some legal issues about exporting a map (or equivalent).
Garmin has a licence for using it on their GPSses and for Basecamp/Mapsource, they don't own the map they use.
Different suggestions were made in the past like using OpenStreetMaps…

I'm not sure if I have mentioned it here, but there is another conflict with transparent maps and the preview map as discussed here: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?p=34743#post34743

The detailed maps never show up in any version of Basecamp…

Overlaying two maps that are routable shouldn't route correctly as you probably know .. Its best to use just one routable map at a time of course.

Some overlays can work with a routable map like some contour layers I've found though on my older Fenix…
