If You're playing with local conditions in Garmin, it is not only temperature that may affect Your distances.
One day You may have headwind, the next tail.
Not always noticed.
Regarding temperature, 10 degree celcius change may affect distance 3-4…
The speed sensor records distance internally. If it is paired with a phone then it will upload that data as activities.
Started my watch at the beginning of my lap swim and knowing that I should be at a certain distance after so many as, I noticed my watchbwas 25m behind.
Are You using metric?
